Working Principles and Safety Technology Requirements of Hydraulic Plate Shearing Machine

Breking machine is a machine that shears metal sheets by using one blade to move back and forth in a straight line relative to another blade. It relies on the moving upper blade and the fixed lower blade to apply shearing force to metal sheets of various thicknesses, causing them to break and separate according to the required size. The cutting machine is a kind of forging machinery, mainly used in the metal processing industry. Working principle of hydraulic plate shearing machine


The working principle of the hydraulic shearing machine: when oil enters the upper chamber of the left oil cylinder of the hydraulic plate shearing machine, the piston will descend, and at the same time, the oil in its lower cavity enters the upper cavity of the right-side cylinder, causing the piston to descend as well, thus ensuring the parallel movement of the cutter frame. When the amount of oil in the series oil circuit increases or decreases, the shearing angle of the cutter frame changes. When cutting two copper plates, the four corners decrease, which can ensure that the plate material does not twist and reduce the stroke of the cutter frame, that is, increase the number of strokes per minute. This kind of structure usually uses nitrogen accumulator to drive one or two return cylinders to shorten the return time and improve the production efficiency of the machine.


After shearing, the plate shearing machine should ensure that the straightness and parallelism of the shearing surface of the sheared plate material meet the requirements and minimize the distortion of the plate material to obtain high-quality workpieces. The upper blade of the shearing machine is fixed on the cutter frame, and the lower blade is fixed on the worktable. The worktable is equipped with material support balls to prevent the plate material from being scratched when sliding on it.


Safety technical requirements of hydraulic plate shearing machine


  • Before working, carefully check whether all parts of the hydraulic shear cutting machine are normal, whether the electrical equipment is intact, and whether the lubrication system is unblocked; remove tools, measuring tools and other debris placed around the workbench and waste materials in the corners and edges. Because it is very important to ensure the safety of using the hydraulic plate shearing machine, reliable hydraulic shearing machine manufacturers must be chosen when buying this machine.


  • Do not operate the automatic shearing machine alone. 2-3 people should coordinate the feeding, control the size accuracy, and take the material, and one person should be designated as the unified commander.


  • Adjust the shear clearance of the hydraulic shearing machine according to the prescribed sheet thickness. It is not allowed to cut two different specifications and materials at the same time, and it is not allowed to cut overlapped plates. The cut plates require a flat surface, and narrow plates that cannot be pressed tightly are not allowed to be cut.


  • The moving parts of the hydraulic shear cutting machine, such as belts, flywheels, gears, and shafts, must be equipped with protective covers.
